Devon Rex News Flash!
On a lighter note compared to my most recent posts...
All the goings on with this breeder I'm working with haven't been the greatest as most of you who actually read my boring blog know, but it is all going to work out in the end.
She has decided along with her vet not to do the premature spay on any of her kittens, which is probably very much for the best! So instead of paying $950 for my kitten, I'll only be paying $800. I'm going to actually end up paying quite a bit more because I'll have to pay for her last 2 sets of shots plus her spay on my own, and the spay alone is going to be about $200 or so. But, alas, at least I will finally be getting my little sweetheart.
I think I've sort of decided on a name for her, but I'm still not quite certain yet. I was thinking about naming her Mona, which will be quite out of place compared to the rest of our pet's names, all ending with an "ee" sound. But then again, she is a little bit out of the ordinary isn't she? hehe
Here is the most recent picture I've received of her...not the greatest, but at least I was sent one.
The best part.. I get to go pick her up on June 1, 2007. So I only have to wait 2 more weekends and then I get to go! Yippee! It's going to be the longest 2 weeks going forward ever.
